Before you upload — please read

  1. Don't upload PII. Strip names, employee IDs, SSNs, and exact addresses first. A description of what happened is all the classifier needs.
  2. Where your data goes. Your file is read in your browser. Only the text of each record is sent through this app’s classify API to Claude (Anthropic) for classification — it is not retained by CompScience. Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted through this system (commercial API / zero data retention for training).
  3. Usage notification. When you run a classification, CompScience is emailed your name and email plus a high-level summary (file name, record counts, level totals). Raw incident text is not included in that email.
  4. This does not replace human judgment. Review every classification for correctness. Take the time to understand ASTM E2920-26 and confirm the results reflect both the standard and your organization's own policies before acting on them.
